company started thinking of diversifying into cars, motorcycles and related machinery. In fact, it was only after the collapse of
the cotton market in 1951, that Suzuki seriously got into the motorcycle and car industry.

Mark Daley of
Thunder Struck Custom Bikes
By Cindy Quick Wilson
Most of us motorcycle enthusiasts, at one time or another, have thoughts—OK, some of us have serious dreams about building our own custom bike from scratch. With programs like American Chopper and Biker Build-off bringing this process right into our living rooms to further fuel this hunger, those of us inflicted with this dream wonder just what it would feel like to mold that metal or form that tank or modify that frame. We imagine color schemes, implementing our ideas of balance and style, adding those little touches that stamp it as our own. Some of us who take it even further might go on to imagine how it would feel to have some of the most renowned bike builders in the nation admire and compliment our work. After years of hard work and dedication to his craft, Mark Daley, owner of Thunder Struck Custom Bikes in Medford, Oregon, has made those dreams come true.
Tips in Preventing
Motorcycle Injuries
by: Kay Zetkin
Safety in riding motorcycles in order to prevent
injuries is a very critical issue especially during the peak of motorcycle
season. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons are very much concerned about this issue since there are almost always a
lot of motorcycle accidents happening at least one every few days. Most injuries noted from the people brought in the Level
One Trauma Units range from serious musculoskeletal injuries, open fractures and head traumas from motorcycle accidents.
There is an incredible revolution in the motorcycle safety and ATV safety arena, Traction Control Brakes. This system, also referred to as TCB Braking, can help you avoid accidents by helping to avoid your wheels from locking.
Many riders today are hesitant to hit their brakes hard and/or do not use their back brakes for fear of locking the wheels up and dumping their bike.
Traction Control Braking
is an incredible solution.

by: Kay Zetkin
Are you one of those motorcycle riders that live in
northern climates where winters can be harsh and still choose to continue
riding when the bitter winter sets in? Well, everybody would say you’re dreadful to
even consider riding out in the snow. Contemporaries who are more protective of their bikes might even
